I say this a lot in life, as, yes, I do not like to be touched randomly, but no one has ever got the reference!
Sad.

Ooh Disney villains!
Let’s see, which one DON’T I like?
Hades is pretty much my favorite. I like him better than stupid Hercules & Megara. Come on, he’s the king of the underworld. He RULES.
Jafar & Scar just have so much PRESENCE. They OWN.
Gaston & Yzma are simply diabolically HILARIOUS!
Maleficent & Cruella de Vil have got MAGNIFICENT names.
& good on Ursula for tricking that foolish redhead of a mermaid to forego her voice when her prince charming only knows her from the voice. I mean, CLASSIC!
Probably the only one I don’t like is the bishop from Hunchback. Picking on the disabled, the disenfranchised, & her goat? That’s not cool, man.

Mulan (1998).
That scene in Mulan where the Emperor & then all of China bow down before her? Never fails to make me cry. Mulan is still my favorite Disney heroine for being so smart & kick-ass.
Cogsworth & Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast (1991).
I was having my Disney moment & re-watched this recently. I can’t believe this movie is twenty years old! I love these two.

Well, since Disney Princesses are meant to “live happily ever after,” they will have sure to have grown old as well! No worries, kids, they’ll still be happy :-).
Yesterday at ‘Dreams Come True’ Disney Fairytale exhibition at ACMI… Since everything in Disney have to have an underlining moral of the story to teach the kids, i thought I drew this to say, “kids, people get old, even the prettiest of princesses get old and saggy too. So take very good care of yourself while you’re still young.”

Tangled (2010).
The second part of my day involved finally watching this. What another win for Disney! I’m not a fan of Zachary Levy (Chuck looks like a gaping-mouthed dork to me), but I liked what he did with Flynn Ryder. Like with Prince Naveen in The Princess & the Frog (2009), I love how Disney’s been giving its male leads a charming cheeky personality (I guess gallant & chivalrous don’t sell as much these days as cheeky). Also, this movie contained The. Best. Horse. Ever in the form of Maximus. Just watch it; I can’t do him justice.
The Princess & the Frog (2009).
I watched this after going to the Disney Princess exhibit at the ACMI (Melbourne, Australia) yesterday. What a charming movie! I liked how it was set in New Orleans & I was particularly endeared by the character of the frog/Prince Naveen.
