Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011).
Elizabeth Olsen was stellar as the girl who came home after escaping what could only be described as a a cult & whose psyche was undeniable damaged by the experience. The movie was shot beautifully with muted colors & fantastic editing that weaves the story in-and-out of flashbacks of Martha’s experience in the cult & being with cult leader Patrick, played terrifyingly by John Hawkes.
