When Lester was pitching against Zobrist, I was like, “You better get this out, Lester, because Joyce is on deck & I won’t know where my loyalties lie.” & would you believe it, Zobrist got on base & Joyce stepped on the plate… & hit a Grand Slam.
I was like, “Fuck it, Lester, but YAY for Joyce!”.

On their road trip to Boston (Woo, Red Sox!), their manager Joe Maddon set a nerd theme in honor of baseball writer Ken Rosenthal, who likes to report on the games wearing a bowtie.

Scott as Wolverine is well, duh, & I see Pena as Mr Fantastic, Upton as the Flash, & Shields as Iron Man, but c’mon, there are 2 x CHRIS EVANS characters & Matt Joyce isn’t assigned to either of them? He should be the Human Torch or Captain America. I mean Silver Surfer ain’t bad, but maybe I’m the only one who sees Joyce’s resemblance to Chris Evans.
